Alchemy named number one Irish business on the FT1000 List of Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies
The world-renowned Financial Times FT1000 list recognises the top 1000 companies in Europe that have achieved outstanding financial growth between 2019 and 2022 - particularly in overcoming challenges such as the recent global pandemic, high inflation, and geopolitical tensions.
And this year we were honoured to be recognised as the highest-ranking Irish company on the list – and 257th overall.
We also ranked fifth in the Waste Management & Recycling sector, shining a light on our efforts to divert devices away from becoming e-waste and instead giving tech a second life. As a result, we’ve seen increased demand for refreshed tech in recent years. And now, having refreshed more than 5 million devices across the world, and cutting out 342,200 tonnes of CO2e in the process, it’s safe to say we’re meeting that demand.
It’s all made possible with our global team of Alchemists. We now work in more than 60 markets around the world, including the US, UK, Australia, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. And we’re all working together to drive the circular tech economy.
“Alchemy’s impressive ranking in the FT1000 underscores our momentum in markets globally and our contribution to the circular tech economy, says Alchemy’s CEO, Walter Vincente.
“With the recent expansion of our operations through new facilities in both Dubai and Miami, and service offering that includes refurbishment of consumer electricals, we’re well-positioned to continue our growth trajectory.
“In an era where the demand for eco-friendly tech solutions is surging, we’re focused on developing strategic partnerships with retailers and manufacturers to enable more consumers to access sustainable and quality tech at an affordable price.”
